What Doozy can do in Gorgias
Doozy searches and reads tickets and customers in your helpdesk. Tools Gorgias marks as destructive start off. Gorgias's own server provides the tools, so what Doozy can do there is what Gorgias offers and grows as they add to it. Each tool has a switch in Doozy.
- Search and read tickets
- Look up customer profiles
- Update a ticket's status, priority, assignee and tags, and add internal notes
- Report on ticket volume, response times, CSAT and what customers write about
- Find stale or duplicate macros and gaps in your tags
- Review Help Center and AI Agent knowledge, and draft new articles

How to connect Gorgias
No keys to paste: Gorgias asks you to approve Doozy, the way it does for any app, and you can revoke that there any time.
- 1
Add Doozy to your Slack and open the Integrations page in the web app.
- 2
Pick Gorgias and click Connect. Gorgias's own sign-in asks you to approve Doozy.
- 3
Choose which of its tools Doozy may use, and mention @Doozy in a thread.
What stays off, and what's always true
Doozy works like a teammate, so it doesn't stop to ask. You decide what it can reach.
Off until you say so
- Any tool Gorgias marks as destructive
- Macro edits and AI Agent settings, which Gorgias itself holds back during its beta
Always
- Every task runs in its own isolated workspace. Credentials stay outside it.
- Every tool has a switch. Tools that delete or overwrite start off.
- Every action it takes is on the audit log, with who asked and what happened.
- Owners and admins connect tools and choose switches. Members can only look.

Works well with
One ask often crosses tools: a Sentry error becomes a GitHub pull request and a Linear issue. Doozy uses whichever it needs.
Questions people ask before they connect Gorgias
- Will it reply to customers?
- Gorgias's server has a tool that replies on a ticket, and that reply reaches the customer. If you want Doozy to draft only, switch it off when you connect, and it writes the reply in your Slack thread for a person to send.
- Which Gorgias plans does it work with?
- Gorgias's MCP server is in open beta and available on every Helpdesk plan; AI Agent isn't required. Some actions need a Lead or Admin role in Gorgias.
- Whose account does it act as?
- The person who connected Gorgias. It can do only what their Gorgias role allows, and each connection works with one Gorgias account.
- Can Doozy see our Gorgias credentials?
- No. Every task runs in its own isolated workspace, and credentials stay outside it: they're added to each call on its way out. Nothing it reads or writes there can expose a key.
- Will it change things in Gorgias without asking?
- It works like a teammate, so it doesn't stop to ask, and you decide what it can reach. Tools that delete or overwrite start switched off, you can switch off any other, and every action it takes is on the audit log with who asked.
- Who can connect it?
- Owners and admins of your Doozy workspace. Members see what's connected and can't change it. Everyone in your Slack can ask Doozy once it's connected.
- What does it cost?
- Nothing extra. Every integration is included on every plan, and the 14-day trial needs no card.
