What Doozy can do in Slack
Doozy is a Slack app. Teammates mention @Doozy in a thread with a real task and it does the work in your systems, then reports back in that thread with what it did. It reads the channels it's in and the threads you link, finds people, and posts where you ask. Nothing more to connect.
- Read the channels it's been added to, and the threads you link
- Find a person by name or email
- Read the files shared in a thread: sheets, PDFs, images, recordings
- Post a message where you ask, or reply in a thread
- Run a task on a schedule set in plain words and post the result
- Remember facts about your business, and follow the ways of working you give it

@Doozy take the sheet Priya shared above and turn it into a chart.

What stays off, and what's always true
Doozy works like a teammate, so it doesn't stop to ask. You decide what it can reach.
Off until you say so
- Nothing. What it can see is set by which channels it's invited to.
Always
- Every task runs in its own isolated workspace. Credentials stay outside it.
- Every tool has a switch. Tools that delete or overwrite start off.
- Every action it takes is on the audit log, with who asked and what happened.
- Owners and admins connect tools and choose switches. Members can only look.

Works well with
One ask often crosses tools: a Sentry error becomes a GitHub pull request and a Linear issue. Doozy uses whichever it needs.
Questions people ask before they connect Slack
- Does it read every channel?
- No. It reads the channels it's invited to and the threads someone links to it. Private channels and DMs stay private; activity in the web app shows who asked in a private place, never what.
- Does it work in Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp?
- Not yet. Slack is the only chat Doozy works in today.
- Can Doozy see our Slack credentials?
- No. Every task runs in its own isolated workspace, and credentials stay outside it: they're added to each call on its way out. Nothing it reads or writes there can expose a key.
- Will it change things in Slack without asking?
- It works like a teammate, so it doesn't stop to ask, and you decide what it can reach. Tools that delete or overwrite start switched off, you can switch off any other, and every action it takes is on the audit log with who asked.
- Who can connect it?
- Owners and admins of your Doozy workspace. Members see what's connected and can't change it. Everyone in your Slack can ask Doozy once it's connected.
- What does it cost?
- Nothing extra. Every integration is included on every plan, and the 14-day trial needs no card.
