What Doozy can do in Apollo

Doozy searches people and companies, enriches leads and reads sequences in Apollo. Enrichment uses your Apollo credits. Tools Apollo marks as destructive start off. Apollo's own server provides the tools, so what Doozy can do there is what Apollo offers and grows as they add to it. Each tool has a switch in Doozy.

  • Search Apollo's people and company data, and your saved contacts
  • Enrich a person or company, one at a time or in bulk, using your Apollo credits
  • Create and update contacts, accounts and deals
  • Build lists, and create or edit sequences and add contacts to them
  • Search, create and complete tasks
  • Read sequence and email analytics, and recorded conversations with their transcripts

Things people ask

In a thread, after @Doozy. It answers in that thread, with what it did.

  • @Doozy find heads of operations at logistics companies in Texas with 50 to 200 people, and add them to a new list.

  • @Doozy enrich the five leads in this thread and put their emails and titles in a Google Sheet.

  • @Doozy add everyone on the Webinar follow-up list to the Post-webinar sequence, from my mailbox.

  • @Doozy every Monday at 9, post last week's reply rates by sequence.

How to connect Apollo

No keys to paste: Apollo asks you to approve Doozy, the way it does for any app, and you can revoke that there any time.

  1. 1

Add Doozy to your Slack and open the Integrations page in the web app.

  2. 2

Pick Apollo and click Connect. Apollo's own sign-in asks you to approve Doozy.

  3. 3

Choose which of its tools Doozy may use, and mention @Doozy in a thread.

What stays off, and what's always true

Doozy works like a teammate, so it doesn't stop to ask. You decide what it can reach.

Off until you say so

  • Apollo's server offers no delete tools. It can send one-off emails and enroll contacts in sequences that send; if you want drafts only, switch those tools off when you connect

Always

  • Every task runs in its own isolated workspace. Credentials stay outside it.
  • Every tool has a switch. Tools that delete or overwrite start off.
  • Every action it takes is on the audit log, with who asked and what happened.
  • Owners and admins connect tools and choose switches. Members can only look.

Works well with

One ask often crosses tools: a Sentry error becomes a GitHub pull request and a Linear issue. Doozy uses whichever it needs.

Questions people ask before they connect Apollo

Does enrichment use Apollo credits?
Yes. Enriching people or companies, company search and job postings draw on your Apollo plan's credits, just as they do in Apollo. Searching people and your saved contacts doesn't.
Can it send email from Apollo?
Apollo's server can send a one-off email and enroll contacts in a sequence, from a mailbox connected in Apollo. Those tools start on; switch them off when you connect if you want Doozy to prepare outreach and leave the sending to you.
Which Apollo plans does it work with?
Apollo's MCP server is available on its plans, including free, within your plan's limits. Free accounts signed up with a personal email address can't use people or company search and enrichment.
Can Doozy see our Apollo credentials?
No. Every task runs in its own isolated workspace, and credentials stay outside it: they're added to each call on its way out. Nothing it reads or writes there can expose a key.
Will it change things in Apollo without asking?
It works like a teammate, so it doesn't stop to ask, and you decide what it can reach. Tools that delete or overwrite start switched off, you can switch off any other, and every action it takes is on the audit log with who asked.
Who can connect it?
Owners and admins of your Doozy workspace. Members see what's connected and can't change it. Everyone in your Slack can ask Doozy once it's connected.
What does it cost?
Nothing extra. Every integration is included on every plan, and the 14-day trial needs no card.
