What Doozy can do in Attio

Doozy searches and reads records and lists in your CRM and adds notes and updates records when you ask. Tools Attio marks as destructive start off. Attio's own server provides the tools, so what Doozy can do there is what Attio offers and grows as they add to it. Each tool has a switch in Doozy.

  • Search people, companies, deals and custom objects, and read a record in full
  • Create a record, or update one, matched by email or domain
  • Add records to lists and update their list entries
  • Add notes and comments, and create or update tasks
  • Search meetings, emails and call recordings, and read a call's transcript
  • Run reports: totals, averages and breakdowns across records or a list

Things people ask

In a thread, after @Doozy. It answers in that thread, with what it did.

  • @Doozy what do we know about acme.com? Last emails, open deals and who owns it.

  • @Doozy add the people from this thread to Attio under Globex and log the call as a note.

  • @Doozy move every deal in Negotiation that went quiet this month to the Follow up list and post them here.

  • @Doozy every Monday at 9, post the pipeline by stage with the deals that changed last week.

How to connect Attio

No keys to paste: Attio asks you to approve Doozy, the way it does for any app, and you can revoke that there any time.

  1. 1

Add Doozy to your Slack and open the Integrations page in the web app.

  2. 2

Pick Attio and click Connect. Attio's own sign-in asks you to approve Doozy.

  3. 3

Choose which of its tools Doozy may use, and mention @Doozy in a thread.

What stays off, and what's always true

Doozy works like a teammate, so it doesn't stop to ask. You decide what it can reach.

Off until you say so

  • Any tool Attio marks as destructive

Always

  • Every task runs in its own isolated workspace. Credentials stay outside it.
  • Every tool has a switch. Tools that delete or overwrite start off.
  • Every action it takes is on the audit log, with who asked and what happened.
  • Owners and admins connect tools and choose switches. Members can only look.

One ask often crosses tools: a Sentry error becomes a GitHub pull request and a Linear issue. Doozy uses whichever it needs.

Questions people ask before they connect Attio

Can Doozy read our call recordings and emails in Attio?
Yes, the ones the person who connected Attio can see. Attio's server searches meetings, synced emails and call recordings, and reads a recording's transcript.
Does it work on every Attio plan?
Attio's server runs with your own Attio permissions on any plan. Its SQL query tool isn't on every plan; the rest of its tools don't list a plan requirement.
Whose name is on the notes and records it creates?
The person who connected Attio. Attio's own sign-in asks them to approve Doozy, and everything it does there is under their account.
Can Doozy see our Attio credentials?
No. Every task runs in its own isolated workspace, and credentials stay outside it: they're added to each call on its way out. Nothing it reads or writes there can expose a key.
Will it change things in Attio without asking?
It works like a teammate, so it doesn't stop to ask, and you decide what it can reach. Tools that delete or overwrite start switched off, you can switch off any other, and every action it takes is on the audit log with who asked.
Who can connect it?
Owners and admins of your Doozy workspace. Members see what's connected and can't change it. Everyone in your Slack can ask Doozy once it's connected.
What does it cost?
Nothing extra. Every integration is included on every plan, and the 14-day trial needs no card.
