What Doozy can do in Gong

Doozy reads calls, transcripts, stats and users. Changing access, erasing data and admin tools start off. You approve Doozy on Gong's own sign-in screen, with no keys to paste, and each tool has a switch in Doozy.

  • List calls by date range and read a call's details and participants
  • Read call transcripts, with who said what
  • Read activity, interaction and day-by-day stats for your users
  • Read scorecards, coaching metrics and keyword trackers
  • List Engage flows and tasks, and add prospects to a flow or take them off one
  • Create or update a Gong meeting

Things people ask

In a thread, after @Doozy. It answers in that thread, with what it did.

  • @Doozy summarize yesterday's call with Acme: objections, next steps and who owns them.

  • @Doozy which calls this week mentioned a competitor? List them with the quote.

  • @Doozy pull the talk ratio and call count per rep for last month into a Google Sheet.

  • @Doozy every Friday at 4, post the calls from this week that have no next step set.

How to connect Gong

No keys to paste: Gong asks you to approve Doozy, the way it does for any app, and you can revoke that there any time.

  1. 1

Add Doozy to your Slack and open the Integrations page in the web app.

  2. 2

Pick Gong and click Connect. Gong's own sign-in asks you to approve Doozy.

  3. 3

Choose which of its tools Doozy may use, and mention @Doozy in a thread.

What stays off, and what's always true

Doozy works like a teammate, so it doesn't stop to ask. You decide what it can reach.

Off until you say so

  • Changing who can see calls, and creating or changing permission profiles
  • Erasing data for an email address or phone number, and deleting meetings
  • Changing CRM integrations or uploading CRM data

Always

  • Every task runs in its own isolated workspace. Credentials stay outside it.
  • Every tool has a switch. Tools that delete or overwrite start off.
  • Every action it takes is on the audit log, with who asked and what happened.
  • Owners and admins connect tools and choose switches. Members can only look.

Works well with

One ask often crosses tools: a Sentry error becomes a GitHub pull request and a Linear issue. Doozy uses whichever it needs.

Questions people ask before they connect Gong

Can Doozy read Gong transcripts?
Yes. It lists calls by date and reads their transcripts, the ones the person who connected Gong can see.
Who should connect Gong?
Someone whose Gong access covers the calls and stats your team wants to ask about. They approve Doozy on Gong's own sign-in screen, and Doozy works under their account.
Can it delete data in Gong?
Not unless an admin turns that on. Erasing data, deleting meetings and changing call access start switched off.
Can Doozy see our Gong credentials?
No. Every task runs in its own isolated workspace, and credentials stay outside it: they're added to each call on its way out. Nothing it reads or writes there can expose a key.
Will it change things in Gong without asking?
It works like a teammate, so it doesn't stop to ask, and you decide what it can reach. Tools that delete or overwrite start switched off, you can switch off any other, and every action it takes is on the audit log with who asked.
Who can connect it?
Owners and admins of your Doozy workspace. Members see what's connected and can't change it. Everyone in your Slack can ask Doozy once it's connected.
What does it cost?
Nothing extra. Every integration is included on every plan, and the 14-day trial needs no card.
