What Doozy can do in Facebook Pages

Doozy reads your Pages' posts, comments, messages and insights. Posting, commenting and messaging start off, since they're public. You approve Doozy on Facebook Pages's own sign-in screen, with no keys to paste, and each tool has a switch in Doozy.

  • Read your Pages' posts, photos, videos and stories
  • Read the comments and reactions on a post
  • Read Page insights, and the insights for each post
  • Read Messenger conversations with your Page
  • See scheduled and unpublished posts, and posts that tag your Page
  • Read your ad accounts, the ads in them and their insights
  • List the Pages and businesses you manage, and who has a role on each

Things people ask

In a thread, after @Doozy. It answers in that thread, with what it did.

  • @Doozy how did our Facebook Page do last month? Reach, engagement and the top three posts.

  • @Doozy list the comments on this week's posts that ask a question, and draft a reply for each.

  • @Doozy what's scheduled on the Page for next week?

  • @Doozy every Friday at 4, add the week's post insights to our Google Sheet.

How to connect Facebook Pages

No keys to paste: Facebook Pages asks you to approve Doozy, the way it does for any app, and you can revoke that there any time.

  1. 1

Add Doozy to your Slack and open the Integrations page in the web app.

  2. 2

Pick Facebook Pages and click Connect. Facebook Pages's own sign-in asks you to approve Doozy.

  3. 3

Choose which of its tools Doozy may use, and mention @Doozy in a thread.

What stays off, and what's always true

Doozy works like a teammate, so it doesn't stop to ask. You decide what it can reach.

Off until you say so

  • Posting, commenting, liking and sending messages, since all of it is public or goes to a customer
  • Editing, deleting or rescheduling posts, and changing Page settings or roles

Always

  • Every task runs in its own isolated workspace. Credentials stay outside it.
  • Every tool has a switch. Tools that delete or overwrite start off.
  • Every action it takes is on the audit log, with who asked and what happened.
  • Owners and admins connect tools and choose switches. Members can only look.

One ask often crosses tools: a Sentry error becomes a GitHub pull request and a Linear issue. Doozy uses whichever it needs.

Questions people ask before they connect Facebook Pages

Does it work with my personal Facebook profile?
No. It works with the Facebook Pages you manage, and the businesses and ad accounts your login can see. Facebook doesn't open personal profiles to apps like this.
Can Doozy post to our Page or answer Messenger chats?
Not unless an admin switches those tools on. Posting, commenting and messaging start off because they're public or reach a customer. Doozy drafts the post or the reply in the thread instead.
Can it work with more than one Page?
Yes. It sees the Pages you share when you approve Doozy on Facebook's sign-in screen, and you can name the one you mean in the ask.
Can Doozy see our Facebook Pages credentials?
No. Every task runs in its own isolated workspace, and credentials stay outside it: they're added to each call on its way out. Nothing it reads or writes there can expose a key.
Will it change things in Facebook Pages without asking?
It works like a teammate, so it doesn't stop to ask, and you decide what it can reach. Tools that delete or overwrite start switched off, you can switch off any other, and every action it takes is on the audit log with who asked.
Who can connect it?
Owners and admins of your Doozy workspace. Members see what's connected and can't change it. Everyone in your Slack can ask Doozy once it's connected.
What does it cost?
Nothing extra. Every integration is included on every plan, and the 14-day trial needs no card.
